35year old son of a leading lawyer was admitted with Cardiogenic shock, revived after a stormy course in ICU, recovered in 4 days, & was ready for discharge.
Lawyer: You saved my son's life, doctor. Please tell me how much I have to pay.
Dr: Suppose I lost the case, how much would you have sued me for?
Lr: Since he is only 35 he has the potential to earn Rs 10 crores in his life time. So we would have sued for at least Rs 5 crores.
Dr: Okay .. Give me half that amount as my fees.
